To the person I shall miss the most...

Letting Go…

The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you cannot have them. There are moments in everybody’s life, which makes one wish, “If only there was a pause button to life, If only time could be frozen in this moment forever..”

Words from the devil himself “If only…”

Parting ways with someone who means the most in your life can be an emotionally draining experience. Its quite mind-numbing to part with someone, who has touched your life in special ways, given memories to last your lifetime, and the hardest part is, we know what is it that we shall miss…and for that reason alone, more often than not, we are compelled to think Ignorance would have been bliss. To love unconditionally is to risk your heart be broken, and yet…there’s no other way to love…

And even though we might give anything to get the past back, reliving those cherished memories, it takes awhile to acknowledge the fact that time heals what reason cannot.

There is nobility in winning a person’s heart and promising to treasure them come what may. And yet, there is greater dignity in putting their happiness first, realizing that true love is never conditional and letting them go. As a blessed soul has put it, Letting Go…is one way of saying I love you.

And as wheels of time turn, realization dawns that the love still exists, only…It has lost a name…. and there is nothing more gratifying in taking their hand, sharing their beliefs, hopes and desires & helping them achieve their dreams, just as you go about yours.

And one day, you wont be sad because it is over, you shall smile because it happened. The world shall never be the same…. and you shall have understood the essence of life….

As I might have…
God Bless,

I "hate" IF-ANDS-BUTS. I "hate" the word hate as well (unless used appropriately when describing material objects only).
